Security investment must keep pace with technological advancement

Hürriyet Daily News reports that the UK is pledging an additional £120 million to its AI Security Institute and £100 million to a new AI Biosecurity Lab to address cyber and biological hazards.

These investments are a direct response to the real risks posed by advanced AI. Security cannot be an afterthought; it must be integrated into the development and deployment lifecycle from day one.

At ELP, we manage risk through strict operational discipline. We avoid the 'growth at all costs' model, choosing instead to build a sustainable company that prioritizes controlled, approved actions in customer environments.

Government-led security initiatives provide a necessary backdrop for the industry. When the state invests in guarding against biological and cyber threats, it creates a safer environment for specialized orchestration and third-party inference to function reliably.
